Desert love & smiling faces

I often get a little envious when I see couple shoots captured among old wise trees, and miles of green hills that sit perfectly in the background of a young couple in love. I guess it’s easy to take something so simple for granted. I grew up in the Somerset countryside, but it’s only now that I’m older and maybe a little wiser, than I can really appreciate it.
Golden sand surrounds us in Dubai, and It’s easy to forget that this is our countryside. It might not be as beautiful as green grass and wild trees, but it’s beautiful all the same.
It’s shoots like this, that make me appreciate what we have around us. Not everyone can have the sand beneath their feet and the sun shining in the sky… but really… isn’t it pretty….

Liz at JVR captured these two love birds on a warm afternoon in Dubai. After spending a few hours in the desert, they made their way to The Farm for the second part of their shoot. {Obviously for the green trees and beautiful surroundings}
Marischa and Ettiene are have been friends with Liz for years, which makes this shoot that extra bit special. As always Liz has done a fabulous job at capturing happy smiles and lots of love.
