I’d like to re-introduce you to The Address Montgomerie. If you’re a bride-to-be on the hunt for an outdoor wedding venue then you may of come across this beautiful venue. The Address Montgomerie is one of my favourites, not only because I got married there back in January 2013 but I’ve had the pleasure of helping three other couples plan their weddings there to. To save you new brides-to-be some time I thought I’d note down the FAQ questions you might have about this venue..
Q: When should I book?
A: If you are looking to secure a Friday during the ‘wedding season,’ our recommendation is to book early to avoid disappointment. Typically, Fridays are the most sought-after and we receive enquiries around 7 – 8 months prior, in some cases even 12 months in advance. We can of course accommodate those with shorter lead time but often Saturdays would be the next best option. We have hosted weddings booked 18 months in advance; we have also turned around a wedding on 5 days’ notice.
Q: What’s the minimum spend? Q: Do you charge a venue fee?
A: We have a selection of fixed costs for our venues. We prefer to give our clients the option to reach the minimum spend fee based on their requirements. By not charging venue rental this gives couples the chance to invest in food and beverage necessities.
By tailoring packages to suit the needs of our clients we ensure they get the best out of their package in order for them to have the magical day they always dreamed of. A minimum fixed cost is always preferred over a venue rental. Usually an extra round of beverages or extra nibbles will cover any shortfall to a minimum spend requirement, which would most likely be any couples’ preference over spending the money on rental charges.
Q: What does a minimum spend mean?
A: Both our indoor and outdoor venues will be designed keeping in mind the number of guests attending the event. We offer the most fitting venue rendering to the number of guests and requirements for the setup of the event. The minimum spend will based on this.
Q: How many different venues do you have at The Address Montgomerie Dubai?
A: We have three spectacular outdoor venues that can be used for any sort of occasion at The Address Montgomerie Dubai, each with its own unique features. By offering catering services to suit different sized groups and specialising in accommodating a variety of budgets for all types of events and requirements, guests and couples will be sure to have a memorable day.
Couples can expect an unprecedented landscaped oasis which graces the hotel’s exterior as they begin their perfect wedding endeavour. Whether in the spacious indoor venue or the open-air venue they will be able to celebrate in true style and elegance, whilst revelling in the stunning backdrop of the golf course. Our team ensures only the highest standards of service and goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience for every guest and precious memories for the special couple.
The Lawn is a picturesque venue to host outdoor events offers lush emerald green lawns. With the Dubai skyline towering out of the horizon, it is an unbelievable photo opportunity for newlyweds. With an expansive veranda that plays host to a large group of people, the venue delivers incomparable views of the Golf Course. The Lawn is a split level grass area overlooking the Lake and the Golf Course and is the largest out of our venues, accommodating up to 500 guests.
We also have the poolside ‘Aquaviva’ venue which can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests. This open air pool deck, offers unparalleled views of the 18th green and of the Club House.
On the opposite side of the property, we have our beautiful ‘Academy Deck’. This venue overlooks the magnificent greens of the Driving Range and Par 3 course and has one of the most spectacular views of the Marina skyline in the whole of Dubai. This venue is best suited for events of up to 100 guests.
Q: Can we change the set menu?
Yes, we can make changes to the menus; some couples request something completely “off menu” and we have amazing chefs who are skilled in a variety of cuisines and are open to accommodate requests. We understand that our brides and grooms want to make their special day unique, therefore, we support them to personalise their day as much as possible.
Packages are great for our couples; they provide a framework that contributes to the ideas of where to go with their budget and ensures they have all essentials covered. Nothing in the package is set in stone and if they do wish to make changes we are more than happy to tailor-make their package.
We offer an eclectic selection of unique set menus and delectable buffet options tailored to perfection by our expert chefs accompanied with an array of our finest beverages available. Couples are given the chance to sample dishes from their desired selected menu prior to the big day.
Couples can also have their wedding cake custom-made to their perfection. Our talented chefs will help design and create the wedding cake truly showcasing their fantastic culinary skills.
