WARNING: THIS WEDDING FILM IS FUN!

This lovely couple met in Dubai and married in Hyderabad. Bhavana is from India and has lived in Dubai her whole life, and Nicky is from Spain and moved to Dubai after graduating from Kingston University in the UK.  This fun loving couple had quite the wedding, and when you see the video you will know exactly what I mean by ‘fun’.
WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS LOTS OF DANCING!!!!

The wedding events…
2nd February.
During the day as guests were being welcomed we held a Mehendi Mela, with a Rajasthani theme.
At night was the Ring Ceremony: a black tie affair with a starry night theme in an indoor location.
3rd February.
In the morning we held religious ceremonies on both the bride and the groom’s sides.
Sunset was time for Vivaah: our Pheras held at the scenic Hawa Mahal, along with an amber, white and gold colour theme.
At night we held a Mehfil-e-Khaas for adults, which was a ghazals/old songs music night with an arabic theme.
For youngsters there was a Masquerade Ball, with a suits & masks attire.
4th February.
During the day we had pool party titled Aloha, theme was Hawaii.
At night was the grand Reception at the magnificent Mughal Gardens.
Why Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad?
We had to choose something that was a unique location and uncommon for our destination wedding. We looked at options in Mumbai, Alibaug, Goa, Jaipur, Udaipur and Bangkok. We visited all of them.
We agreed upon Ramoji Film City because of its remarkable setup and breath taking outdoor locations; “Hawa Mahal” and “Mughal Gardens” being our favourites.
Did you hire a Wedding Planner?
Yes, we hired ‘Minttu Sarna’ from Hyderabad as our events organiser. We had a reliable reference and liked his work ethic on our first meeting. Their team took care of everything including decoration, sets, flowers, place settings, audiovisual equipment, catering set up, performers, entertainment and transport.
Our siblings, Bharat and Mayuri, made a major contribution with their ideas, decision-making, coordination, arrangements and organisation of skits of the dance performances done by our family and friends.

The most ‘fun’ part of Wedding Planning. And the most ‘stressful’ part.
There was a great deal of travel involved, as the bride’s family was coming from Dubai and the groom’s family was coming from Spain.
Planning and looking forward to the actual wedding was the best part as the feeling of anticipation for one’s own wedding is indescribable.
Shopping for clothes for the wedding was the most stressful; agreeing on and choosing the main factors of the wedding was also stressful and time consuming, such as a make up and hair artist, wedding card designer, and events team.
Dealing with RFC was also a challenge as this was the first time they have ever organised a wedding on this scale and to our requirements.

Service providers we’d like to recommend
Our invitation card designer was Mrs Niti Modi of Escapades, Dubai.
Pooja Studio of Dubai did all our photography and videography, including pre-wedding shoot cinematography.
Bride’s make up and hair was done by Subhash Shinde of Mumbai.
Apart from catering from RFC we hired 3 renowned caterers from Hyderabad: Fusion9, Sharma Chaatwala and Gaurav Caterers.
Big thanks to the lovely couple for sharing their wedding with us. Love it!!!
