I hate wasting money on things that aren’t completely necessary and I love a bit of DIY. Besides, it is the small personal touches that make your day exactly that…personal.
I’m British, but my family is scattered across the globe. I’m married to Nathan (my Canadian soul mate) and I have a daughter, Adeline, who sometimes likes to join me in meetings :). I’m also a dog mum to Charlie & Ferguson, two fantastically cuddly pug mixes who never cease to entertain me. I’m not a fan of summer attire, I prefer winter boots to flip flops, and I my favorite color is grey. I have an obsession with house plants, and general home interiors. I like anything that’s a bit raw and a bit earthy. I also like ice cream.
About My Lovely Wedding
My Lovely Wedding started back in 2012 when I was a bride-to-be and decided to blog about my own personal bridal journey. My story seemed to resonate and the feedback from those original blogs motivated me to continue writing. This motivation, along with the support of so many couples and vendor partners, has enabled me to grow My Lovely Wedding into my dream job. I get to style weddings, play with flowers and make weddings pretty. I have worked with so many wonderful clients over the past few years, and being able to make their weddings come to life is quite possibly the most rewarding part of what I do. Today My Lovely Wedding is not only a wedding blog; it’s a platform for inspiration to others getting married.
My Lovely Wedding focuses on the local wedding industry in Dubai and the UAE and while I look to the global industry for ideas and inspiration, all of my weddings are here. I also keep things personal, working with each bride and couple personally and face-to-face to ensure a lovely day.
Last year My Lovely Wedding expanded and we brought Kara into the mix. She’s a fabulous wedding planner with tons of event experience. She can basically take care of all the things I don’t do. If you feel like you need the A-Z service for your wedding, then she’s the one to do it!
