DIY framed table numbers ♥

Today my lovelies I’m showing you how I made table numbers using a few crafty bits and an ikea photo frame. It’s so easy and you can be as crafty and creative as you like! I got the glitter glue and buttons from the stationery shop at The Beach Centre on the Jumeriah Beach Road. This shop has tons of cool crafty bits that are perfect for DIY projects.
What you need…

  • glitter glue of any colour. I used silver!
  • buttons or button pins… or anything similar
  • lace or ribbon of any colour
  • sticky tape, glue or whatever you want to use
  • a pair of crafty scissors
  • card of a good thickness

Start by cutting the card to the size of the frame. Remember to leave enough space at the edge of the card for the frame

Start by adding lace around the corners, you can do this anyway you like. I stuck down the lace down with tape, but you might want to use glue for s stronger finish
I was lucky enough to have a helper close by… well kind of 😉

Then write out your table number and decorate with buttons. I randomly placed my buttons around the card to make it look pretty.

These buttons push through the card and stay in place by bending back the metal. They are really easy to use, and create no mess. No glue required! Bit of a bonus for me as I’m always messy, and always end up with sticky fingers.

I also made 3 very similar table numbers, which look really cute in the white frames. I also love the idea of them being slightly 3D… there really is no need for glass! Plus you can re-use the frames after your wedding. Bonus!

Happy crafting my lovelies…
