Lovely lingerie…Agent Provocateur 2016 Bridal Collection

So something a little bit different for our lovely readers this afternoon. Agent Provocateur’s new Bridal collection has just arrived in our inboxes and it is just a little bit gorgeous. If you’re looking for something to make you feel extra special on your big day then this might just be what you’re looking for – filled with sweetly seductive and delicate sets, corsets, basques and kimonos. The collection comes in elegant whites and nudes to go neatly under any beautiful bridal. 
The collection ranges from the sophisticated and graceful to the more daring and we are sure you will find pieces that work for you. My personal favourite is this design, Stone. It is just so neat and pretty and is something I could really myself wearing. It would also work well with various different dress styles and would be comfortable throughout the day (just remember it’s a long day is all I’m saying!).

Any advice on bridal lingerie from us? Honestly, it is really up to you and what you feel the most comfortable in, the only thing that I would place emphasis on to to make sure whatever you choose provides the support necessary to carry the dress, bearing in mind that a gown that is typically much heavier than the average dress of course so you will need something that’s going to hold up. For this reason, bridal corsets can be very popular  – especially as they enhance your curves in all the right places (and make you feel like a princess!). Just remember that they are not the most comfortable (think Keira Knightley in Pirates of Carribbean) so be sure to lace it fairly loosely so you can actually breathe – let your groom take your breath away instead 🙂
