It’s been a while since we had a wedding at The Address Montgomerie Dubai, and just over 6 years since I got married there back in January 2013. It actually seems like a life time ago that I wore a vintage 1970s lace wedding dress and Manolo Blahnik heels. I styled my own wedding, set up tables and ran around in flip flops setting up jars of flowers before putting my ‘bride face’ on a few hours before I said, ‘I do’. Every time I go back, the memories flood back and I wish I could do it all over again. I often wonder what I would do differently because the industry has expanded so much, and we have so many more options now. There are loads more photographers, make-up artists, wedding planners and everything in-between. We have the choice of chairs, table top rentals and a web full of beautiful wedding inspiration, oh and I shouldn’t forget Instagram either. We didn’t have Instagram when I got married. It’s a game changer.
The Address Montgomerie Dubai has always been one of the most popular outdoor wedding venues (as you can see from the pictures above) and I really want to get back there this year. I’m hoping that the last quarter of 2019 is going to bring us some exciting new clients because we are about to launch an awesome ‘all inclusive package’ customized for only selected venues in Dubai including The Address Montgomerie Dubai.
