Styling, decor & DIY… my job as a stylist!

Friends of mine often ask what I do as a stylist. I get the impression that not everyone is familiar with the title ‘Wedding Stylist’, and often confuse it with a wedding planner. I’m not a wedding planner. I don’t plan weddings, nor do I manage the logistics or bookings of vendors. I do however consult and advise, and then leave the booking part to the bride. I guess you could say I am about 50% wedding planner… maybe.
My role as a stylist is to create a beautiful setting, within a reasonable budget. I’m like a brides creative side kick. I organise the flowers, and all of the decor elements. Anyway, as I get asked so much about what I do.. I thought I’d roundup some of my weddings that I’ve worked on so far this year.
I’m still in the process of launching my new website – www.lovelystyling.com, so until that’s done, this gives you a good idea of what I’ve been up to over the past 6 months.
