The way he looks at her…

What’s my favorite part of a wedding ceremony? It’s not the flowers, or the beautifully styled arch that stands perfectly behind the groom as he waits for his bride. It’s the part when she walks in, everyone stands to watch her entrance and its at that moment I turn to look at him. It’s a smile that you can’t quite explain. It makes my heart melt, and more often than not I end up with tears falling down my cheeks as I watch the crowd smile and celebrate the love that brought them together for this one special day.

K & J – Jumeirah Al Qasr Dubai Wedding Videography from Morning Jacket Films on Vimeo.

At Katie and Jon’s wedding last December I stood on the steps at Magnolia and watched as Katie stepped off the Abra and walked behind her bridal party towards her dashing groom. I turned and looked at Jon and the tears fell. I kid you not every single person at that wedding was crying. It was so emotional. I felt overwhelmed and I’d only met them a handful of times, and knew them for just over a year. Just imagine how everyone else felt. It was a memory I will never forget. It’s moments like this that I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have a job I actually love.

So for now, I’ll leave you with this incurable video made by Morning Jacket Films.
