It’s the 1st December and with Christmas only a few weeks away, we thought today would be the perfect day to share some festive styling ideas with you. Rio @ Bride Club ME and I teamed up with Enchate Studios to create two festive table scopes. While chatting over an Italian feast at Rio’s usual hangout we got onto the subject of Christmas, and decided it was only right to create some pretty pictures for our lovely readers. We both had very different ideas, so we decided to create two set ups and feature them on the same day on both websites. I know, we are so good to you lot.
I’m in love with anything rustic, so I created a table set up using unpolished wood and touches of gold and silver. I used wood slices to create height, and added candles, christmas tree decorations and a few flowers for contrast. My favourite part of the shoot is probably the wood reindeer. I picked him up in Switzerland and have been dying to feature him on MLW.
Rio envisioned a more traditional style table, so we used classic Christmas colours such as rich green and berry red. Mayflower Flower Shop created a gorgeous centrepiece which looked fabulous against a red and white checked table overlay. I’m sure most of you would be expecting a gold glittery overlay and more gold, but not this year folks. We thought the red gingham would be refreshingly traditional… if that makes any sense? Innovative Hiring provided gorgeous white chairs, and my friend Mona (my now graphic design side kick) created some cute stationery for the shoot.
I hope you enjoy the pretty pictures as much as I do…. and if you’re keen to see the second set up head over to http://brideclubme.com/articles/festive-styled-shoot/ now
