Back in October, I styled Tope + Bolu’s wedding. We had first met back in April when they were on vacation and planning their wedding here in Dubai. Both originally from Nigeria, they live in London so having a destination wedding seemed like the perfect fit for a gathering of family and friends. Kara helped with on the day coordination while I styled the wedding and took care of all the pretty details. Lucky enough for me, they trusted my vision and we created a gorgeous reception featuring dusty blue linens teamed with burgundy napkins and gold details. The brown cross back chairs soften the look which worked perfectly at Magnolia. Vintage Bloom provided the florals which as always were perfectly created with my vision in mind. Our table top rentals came from Party Social and Teddy at Fushia Events provided us with sound and lighting for the event. I must not forget the stationery… Mona at Mona Makes (my stationery sidekick for years now) produced some gorgeous menus, place cards and welcome signage. However, our favourite element was probably the seating plan and the personalised wax seal. It was the perfect way to add a touch of glam!
Kara will share her part of the story when we see the couples photos very soon. But for now, I hope you enjoy swooning over these beautiful images captured by my very talented friend; Maria Sundin.
