A sneak peek with Brett Florens & Bernard Richardson

Earlier this week I spent the afternoon with one of the photography industries most humble and talented photographer; Brett Florens. My friend Bernie {Bernard Richardson Photography} contacted me about two weeks ago and asked if it was possible to organise a desert bridal shoot in only 10 days. Not wanting to miss a chance to work with Brett, I called around and managed to pull in some amazing vendors.
Organising a shoot in only two weeks is challenging but we some how pulled it off. We secured a location, models, hair and makeup and the very talented B at Moirai Style custom designed a dress in only 7 days. It’s quite amazing really, and I feel so lucky to work with so many talented people. It’s even more amazing to open your emails two days later and find a sneak peek from Brett himself… (obviously I was so excited I had to get them up on the blog asap)

On this particular shoot we focused on the models, and the incredible backdrop of mountains and sand dunes. So with no decor to organise I stepped back and observed. It was exciting and being able to watch the team work together so effortlessly was a real pleasure. Brett Florens is a true inspiration… not only is he an incredible photographer but he’s so humble and kind.
