A yellow & blue 'Save the Date' shoot…

This gorgeous couple got engaged and thought they would take the ‘Save the date’ part of the planning to the next level. A photo shoot with all the lovely details… {It’s put my PowerPoint designed ‘Save the Date’ to shame} My new friend Shayantani is a photographer based in Dubai and has recently joined MLW as one of my lovely vendors.
Shayantani says”As a kid, I used to play around with my dad’s camera, and then started taking photography seriously when I had my daughter, so that I could take photos of her while she was growing up. However I bought my first professional camera 5 years back and never stopped since then”

The ‘Save the Date’ photo shoot concept is really cool. It not only gives you a chance to celebrate your engagement, but you also walk away with a handful of pretty pictures. Shayantani set up a very cute yellow and blue themed picnic for the couple, and with a backdrop of green grass and soft sand you’d think they would somewhere like Australia. But no. It’s shot right here in Dubai.  Lenora and Nicholas and their gorgeous dog Coco (yes they took the dog too.. #lovingit) spent the afternoon with Shayantani and as a result they walked away a very happy couple… plus dog 😉
The groom-to-be Nicholas is a brand director in an advertising company and bride-to-be Lenora works with clients on international campaigns. They are getting married on the 3rd of January, 2015 in Bangalore, India.
