Anne Barge 2016 Collection arrives at The Bridal Showroom

It’s hardly surprising that our inboxes are full of beautiful things here at My Lovely Wedding and I kinda love that part of my job is to swoon at gorgeous wedding dresses. If you’ve been reading my posts regularly then yes I love the word swoon I can’t help it. Especially when it comes to this beautiful new 2016 collection from US-based fashion designer Anne Barge now available at The Bridal Showroom in Dubai.
I’m not sure if it’s because the collection was inspired the French countryside or not but I am now fantasising about wearing one of these in an idyllic setting in a picturesque vineyard somewhere. Clean lines, floral appliqué, luxe beading and hues of dusty blush feature prominently in a collection that the designer notes “combines formality with fantasy.” I personally love how the florals and understated embellishment give the dresses a vintage feel while retaining a sharp and current cut that is super flattering. Take a peak at this beautiful design, aptly named Versailles, to see what I’m talking about. The beadwork is so beautiful!

My personal favourite is the Castellaine design below. It is super classic with its sweetheart neckline while the cascading tulle gown gives it a playful touch (that kinda makes me want to swoosh around in it on the dancefloor) and the crystal belt ties it all together.  This is a super flattering design and elegantly highlights all the parts you want to show off. I mean isn’t it amazing? You can really see how Anne Barge has created chic and contemporary designs while retaining a traditional silhouette that would make any beautiful bride feel like a princess on her special day.

As you can see, the collection is pretty fabulous. We also loved the Charmed design which was a little different with a floral bodice and the Tuilleries which looks effortlessly elegant with soft blush fabric and a shower of flowers and sparkle.
