Hoda & Khaled got married back in February at Dubai Equestrian Polo Club after only 8 months of planning. I met the lovely couple last summer just after they booked Liz at JVR Photography as their wedding photographer. Hoda had been reading my blog for inspiration and after they discovered I styled weddings they got in touch to talk about their big day. Planning a wedding from Toronto, Canada wasn’t going to be easy but with the help of family members living in Dubai and some creative assistance from myself I assured the newly engaged that their wedding would be fabulous.
Most of the wedding was planned by emails, texts and Pinterest boards, but over the Christmas break I was visiting my husbands family in Canada, and had the pleasure of catching up with Hoda & Khaled in downtown Toronto. Over a tall skinny latte we finalized details for the big day. It was the last time we would meet while wearing warm winter coats and boots. If I recall it was about 2c.
A week before the wedding Liz caught up with them for a pre-wedding shoot and this is what happened…
“They are soooo in love and a photographers dream! Super attention to detail, cute and they will do anything I ask, just to get that good shot!! We had this lovely pre-wedding session just a week before their wedding and I just love all the small details they incorporated into the shoot.” Says Liz.
