Dubai Equestrian & Polo Club – A lovely outdoor wedding venue in Dubai

If you’re recently engaged and on the hunt for an outdoor wedding venue then may I suggest the lovely Dubai Equestrian and Polo Club. Located just behind Studio City (Near Motor City) this spacious venue offers you a few options around the club.
Palermo Terrace
What the venue say: Host a private party like no other at our modern and purpose-built equestrian venue. Uniting polo prestige with contemporary design, The Palermo Terrace overlooking our impressive polo field truly is an events venue with a twist.
The Palermo Terrace is the setting of choice for cocktail receptions, corporate launches, banquets and other unforgettable exclusive events.
What I say: The terrace area is perfect for an afternoon wedding ceremony followed by a sit down dinner. It’s a large space but don’t let it put you off if you’re having less than 150 guests. I styled a wedding there last year and we used the whole terrace for various parts of the day. It’s also very private and has a smashing view too.

Pool Lawn
What the venue says: Discover the perfect outdoor venue for your special occasion. Stunning expanses of Dubai landscape stretch out beyond this world-class events venue, which can accommodate up to 250 guests. Ideal for large affairs or smaller celebrations, it is a flexible and dynamic space.
Choose the Pool Lawn for any important occasion from weddings and cocktail receptions to after parties and corporate events, and enjoy the premium facilities offered by the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club. Our equestrian background in combination with our beautiful location makes for a truly unique setting.
Nestled between the magnificent polo fields and an outdoor pool area, the Pool Lawn is an impressive location suitable for any private event.
What I say: I’ve never styled a wedding on the pool lawn but would love to next season. It’s the perfect spot for a tipi or an outdoor rustic styled wedding. Yes, I know I love that ‘rustic wedding theme’. It’s also a great spot for couple photos and if you ask the club nicely they will even bring you a horse to pose with. Amazing!!

Saha Courtyard
What the venue say: A spacious and energising events venue located in the centre of the Clubhouse, Saha Courtyard is a flexible space suitable for all types of private events.
Set the scene for an evening under the stars. Water fountains dot around the venue, adding shimmering style and tranquility. Whether hosting a chic cocktail party or a bustling buffet, our Saha Courtyard is the ideal venue for any event.
What I say: This venue is perfect for larger weddings, from around 130-200 guests is the ideal because it’s a large space. . In the middle of the courtyard sits a fountain which is a great base for clusters of candles. Although getting across to display the candles can be a challenge, however the staff are super friendly so this risky job can be passed on. (I know from experience) If you do book this area just remember that you will need to light venue, and this may be an added cost. The events team at the club can recommend great vendors who can assist you with this.
