Morning Lovelies,
Today’s blog isn’t really related to weddings but it does include a very stylish cake created by Ana at Nice Ribbon Atelier. (Ana makes wedding cakes, so therefore it’s kinda of related right?)
A few months back I spent an afternoon with the events and marketing team at Dubai Marina Yacht Club shooting a nautical children’s party. Keeping with the seaside theme we created a dessert table using jars of candy, popcorn and cookies and used rustic rope for added detail. My favorite part was the ombré cake topped with a handmade gold anchor. It was so pretty!
After styling a shoot for The Address Montgomerie Dubai I was asked to help with this shoot. Obviously it’s not wedding related and for the first time I didn’t show up on site with a car full of flowers, but it was a really fun experience. Working around a budget and creating a setting for kids rather than adults made a refreshing change.
