Going 50s Retro… a fun styled shoot!

Yesterday I posted www.mylovelywedding.com/how-to-create-a-retro-wedding/ and today I’m following up with the rest of the retro inspired styled shoot. Yes, that’s me… I’m wearing a red and white polka dot full skirt teamed with Converse. {And yes, the bow tattoo’s are mine}
I must be honest when I say I wasn’t overly thrilled about modeling but since it was a retro themed shoot, and I love anything a little bit different I agreed to swap my usual role as a stylist to model. {well try to model} Luckily it was quite a low key shoot and my aim was to create a few pretty pictures that might inspire brides with a retro themed wedding. Like I said yesterday, adding a few records or using your colours wisely can make all the difference. It’s all about the details… and here at MLW I’m all about the details.  Liz at JVR captured them beautifully, and while it was a little daunting working around paying customers, it was really fun.
