A few weeks back Helen & Nick’s wedding was featured on BrideClub ME, and today I have the pleasure to share it with my lovely readers too. I met Helen well over a year ago and was instantly hooked to ‘Good Magazine’. If you haven’t read it, you must. It’s just sooooo good! It’s a monthly magazine and you can find it in most stores around the UAE. When I first met Helen she had just got engaged to Nick and invited me for a coffee to talk ‘weddings’. Of course I was over the moon to discuss weddings with my new favourite editor.
A few months later Helen and Nick got ‘legally married’ and started to plan the ‘big white wedding’ in early 2014. Little did she know that only a few months later she would be pregnant and expecting her first baby in early 2015. (Btw they had a gorgeous baby girl and are very happy parents) Lets just say the wedding was not priority number one any more, it was the baby growing inside her. Anyway fast forward a few months and Helen had her wedding dress taken out… which I personally think is rather cool because you can eat as much wedding cake as you like and no one can tell if you’re full or not. #babybump She also pulled in some friends and together on a much smaller budget she created an incredibly beautiful wedding. The details are so simple, and so personal. Clare Ebbs at Aghareed and myself helped on the day to ensure the set up was styled properly. Helen’s casual approach made the wedding that much more relaxed and as you can see from the video created by Goldfish Photography & Video… it was a fun filled evening and gorgeous too.
