Hello… It's Monday today!

Hello lovely readers,
How are you all today? Sorry this post is getting out late, I had another very busy morning.. and now it’s 3.45pm. Blahhhh!
Anyway, let me tell you about my weekend. It was fab! On Friday 21st Feb, I spent my day at Arabian Ranches Golf Club, making Jill & Nick’s wedding look pretty. After months of planning (styling & decor sort of panning) my vision of a beautiful brightly coloured chevron print themed wedding finally was finally here.
After an early start, a few car loads of props and decorations, I spent my Friday doing what I do best. Styling a wedding! Despite the running around, and hot sun burning my cheeks… I loved every minute. My bride Jill had planned her wedding and actually hired all of her vendors from My Lovely Wedding. I had nothing to do with the planning, and I left her to it. On the day , the staff at Arabian Ranches were fab, so helpful and all the guests were really taken care of. Liz at JVR photographed the wedding, and by the end of the night  she became best friends with half of the wedding guests. She really is a true ‘people person’ and everyone loved her.
The photos that I’ve seen so far are amazing too… and I am so excited to see the rest in the next week or so.  The Dawn Patrol were there the whole day with their musical talents, and they rocked out all day long. They are an awesome wedding band!

The other thing that seems to be consuming most of my time is helping Emma Pope (events guru) with The Wedding Fair at The Montgomerie. It’s going to be a really lovely set up, and hopefully you will all come and say hello 🙂 I’m also meeting with lots of new lovely vendors, and will be bringing you features very soon. I’ll be starting with my new favourite wedding venue ‘Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi‘. #beachweddingvenue – yes please!!
Right i’m going to prepare tomorrows blog now so that you get something to read nice and early… does that make up for being late today? I hope so.
