This is the first time in a long time I’m having writers block. Maybe I’m tired or maybe I’m having an off day? Either way, I’m not enjoying this overwhelming feeling of nothingness. So rather than try and find something to say about weddings, decor or local suppliers I’m going to give you an update on what’s been going on in my life.
January…
I got married. Yep, as you know I got married to Nathan on the 4th January. It was awesome! I then got whisked away on my honeymoon to Switzerland for 12 days. It’s funny because a lot of people have asked me if things are different now that I’m married, so I thought I’d make a list.
1. I can now ski
2. I’m even more happy than I was before
3. I refer to Nathan as ‘husband’
So really, it just feels the same but my new name is ‘wife’ and I know that no matter what we will always be together. Knowing that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
February…
February was very busy for me. I was in and out of meetings all month with suppliers and venues. Believe it or not being a wedding blogger is a rather busy job. I also went ahead and got a trade license, which is a huge step for My Lovely Wedding and very exciting for future business. Oh, and I didn’t go to the gym for the whole of February… oops.
March…
OK, so it’s only the 4th March. Happy birthday Grandma! My Grandma tells me she reads my blog daily, what a cutie. Anyway, this week I should get my trade license back and then it will be the start of many exciting things. I mentioned on my Friday Best Bits post that I was going to be working with some big hotels… well I am, but you will need to wait a little while longer before I tell you who they are. Things really are on the up… and I feel so lucky to be doing what I love every single day.
Anyway, got to go… back tomorrow with a fresh mind.
