Inspiration: The Alternative Wedding Arch

While browsing the web for inspiration for wedding arches I came across a few pretty alternatives. If you’re looking for something a little different then maybe I can temp you with a vintage style wood door, or a over-sized potted tree, or perhaps a DIY tassel structure?
You may of seen them on Instagram but I now have vintage wood doors for rent. They are big, heavy and kind of a pain to put up but they look amazing when fully decorated with flowers. They also made a lovely change from the standard wedding arch with drapes and flowers.  Don’t get me wrong, I love a pretty wood arch with draped fabric curtains but there is something about the doors that make me weak at the knees.

I’m also a big DIY fan, and a fan of anything that can be reused. If you’re organised and crafty, then investing in large plants of small trees could be a good choice. The Garden Centre on Sheikh Zayed road always have a lovely selection of huge plants I find myself swooning over time I go. If only I could find a bride that wants a full blown green garden wedding. No flowers… only plants?? Anyone?
Here are some pretty pictures to make your Wednesday that little bit better…

Aren’t they gorgeous? Okay brb off to make a wedding arch, back soon lovelies!
