Introducing Cake Land…

Morning Lovelies,
I’m starting the week off by introducing you to Mona; owner and baker at Cake Land.
I met Mona two weeks ago after several emails back and forth. As you know, before any vendor can join MLW I must meet them in person to make sure they are vendor ready 😉 So we met for coffee at Lime Tree Cafe. She’s not a fan of Starbucks, and since I’m so close to Lime Tree Cafe now this has sort of become my new hang out. #sorrystarbucks
Anyway, we met and chatted about cakes, flavors, weddings and the joys of having a job you love so much. Really. I feel very lucky to love my job this much and most of my other vendors feel the same. It creates nice vibes 🙂
Mona’s creations are beautiful, and while most of her cakes have been for other celebrations such as birthdays and baby showers, she’s now ready to leap into the world of weddings. Welcome to my world Mona!!

About Mona…
I’m an IT professional of 10 years of experience who’s finally took the leap of faith and decided to pursue my dream of becoming a cake decorator. I kicked off my cake education with a cake decoration course in Sydney Australia in 2012 and ever since been dreaming about having my own cake business. Cake Land saw light in December 2013 here in Dubai and it’s been the most exciting and enjoyable journey of all time.
