Introducing Magnolia Bakery – The loveliest wedding cakes…

Hello Lovelies,
Today I’m super excited to introduce you to one of my lovely new vendors; Magnolia Bakery.
If you’re in your late 20s/ early 30s you probably would have grown up watching Sex and The City. I was addicted, in fact it’s probably one of the things that fueled my love for fashion. Fast forward a few years and I finally got my chance to visit the famous Mangnolia Bakery in NYC. I remember I had a chocolate cupcake with chocolate butter icing. I sat on a park bench and scoffed it down before wondering the streets of Manhattan for thrift stores and quirky hangouts. Back then I was a fashion student, and was quite comfortable to wear pretty much anything that was slightly alternative. I’m more grown up now, but that doesn’t mean my love for Magnolia cupcakes and thrift stores is any less. In fact I can probably appreciate a really good cupcake now than ever before. Why? because I don’t eat cake that often, I realised when I turned about 28 that my old habits of ‘eating what I want’ and staying slim were no longer applicable. For all my ladies who are a similar age you’ll know exactly what I mean.

Fast forward a few more years and Magnolia Bakery opened it’s doors in Dubai. Most of us will go to Magnolia Bakery for a freshly baked delicious cupcakes but did you know they also cater for weddings and smaller events too?
A single tier cake is the perfect addition to any bridal shower or baby shower, and if you ask in store they can custom make cakes in only a few days. If you’re in the downtown area then you can visit Magnolia at Bloomingdales, and if you’re near the Marina end of town they have a beautiful bakery at The Beach, JBR. It’s actually the perfect place for a baby shower, and it’s on my list of favourite little venues.
