Introducing Safiya Burnell- My Events Guru♥

Hi Guys,
I’m so excited to introduce you to my lovely friend Safiya, who is one of the most stylish women I know. She is the face of Safiya Burnell Events, you’ve probably seen her ad on the side of this page?
Back in 2005 Safiya was my boss, she was the women behind the running of the Dubai World Cup and I was a gap year student working as a receptionist/ hostess for a few months. It has been women like Safiya, who have inspired me, and made me appreciate what goes into an amazing event. I was lucky enough to work with her on a huge wedding back in 2009 too. I had just joined CONTEMPO and Safiya was over seeing a wedding for 2000 people. Believe me, this women knows her stuff.
Safiya does not only manage big events but also has a large portfolio of smaller vents such as birthday parties, private lunches and is now launching into bridal showers and smaller style weddings too. So before I babel on too much here’s some of her work…
This is from the 2000 guest wedding that Safiya worked on with CONTEMPO.
It was a Japanese theme and as you can see it really was stunning….

This  Gold Rush themed event was the after party at The Mongolia Restaurant, Madinat Jumeriah.
