Introducing the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi

A few weeks back I made the drive to Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. I was amazed to see how much it had changed since my last visit, which was about a year ago. As I drove up to the Park Hyatt I instantly got a good feeling. I had been to the hotel when it first opened, and back again for a quick browse before my own wedding. It wasn’t until I had a complete tour of the hotel, that I discovered some fabulous venues… perfect for intimate expat weddings.

If you’re looking for a beachfront venue for an intimate wedding ceremony or maybe a large open space for an outdoor celebration, then I really suggest looking at the Park Hyatt. It’s not too far from Dubai, or Abu Dhabi airport, and once you’re on the island, it feels like you could be anywhere. It’s like a little bit of paradise. 🙂

Not only do they have some lovely outdoor venues, but they have a large ballroom too, so if you do get married on a raining day (which is very unlikely) you have a plan B. Believe me, this is a massive plus!

Seriously… can you imagine a private wedding reception at The Residence with 50 guests being treated to an intimate dinner in one room, a dance floor (your very own mini club) in another room, and access to you very own terrace and kitchen. If you’re looking for privacy, then this is a must-see venue. It’s also so gorgeous, you really don’t need that much décor… and that’s me, the décor obsessed wedding stylist.

And I’m so excited because the minimum spends are not crazy… their prices are really reasonable, and the lovely events team can put together a bride & groom package especially for you… think spa treatments, cake, and all those little extras that make you feel extra special.
