Katie & Sash's lemonade stand shoot

Back in June the lovely Liz from JVR photography and myself teamed up to created a fun and colourful engagement shoot with an edge. It was the first time we collaborated on an engagement shoot, rather than a ‘styled shoot’. Our lovely bride Katie and her groom Sash didn’t want anything too fancy for their wedding {which I also styled and helped with} so knowing their down to earth personalities, I knew this simple yet stylish set up would work perfectly. And who doesn’t like a lemonade stand?
I kept it simple using yellow lemons as the main focus point, a few fresh flowers and some real Canadian mason jars. {that was very important as Katie is Canadian} The white cart was brilliant, and with a team of four we managed to assemble and disassemble the cart to fit into Liz’s car. We rented the cart from Vintage Bloom, and having worked with them for so long no they knew we would take good care of it. It would look fabulous at an outdoor wedding. The flowers were from Flowers.ae which complimented Katie’s blue and white checked shirt. Her boyish charm and loving banter with now hubby Sash made this shoot really fun. He also wore braces… which were just awesome. 🙂
