What was it like editing your own wedding video?
Editing my/our own wedding video was quite different to editing someone else’s as I would see parts where I didn’t like shots of myself, whereas with other people I don’t look at them in a critical way as I did with myself. The part which was similar to the other video’s I’ve edited was the fact that it’s so difficult to pick the best bits to fit in to a couple of minutes! There are always so many lovely shots to choose from and its hard to leave big chunks of the wedding out.

Who filmed on your wedding day?
Our wedding day was filmed by a lovely lady called Beth Balde. She was wonderful and very discreet which is exactly what we wanted.
How do you feel when you see it now?
I’m so pleased we managed to fit a videographer into our budget, as watching the video now really makes us feel as though we’re there on the day again. It’s also lovely to see little bits which we didn’t have chance to notice on the day. It all passes by so quickly and having those memories on video really helps us to re-live it. My favourite part is seeing Martin’s face as I walk down the aisle. That makes me cry every time!
