Lovely Styling – A Yellow & Blue Baby Shower @ The Address Montgomerie

A few weeks back I helped Rio at Bride Club ME style a baby shower for one of her closest friends. Working around a small budget is just my thing, it helps the creative juices flow and it’s exciting to put together ideas that won’t break the bank. The shower was for 20 beautiful ladies who gathered on a private terrace at The Academy at The Address Montgomerie Dubai.
Surrounded by lush green grass and faced with a view of the iconic Dubai Marina, it seemed like the perfect venue for an event of this sort. I had a long blue and white striped table runner made for the table, and added lemons and apples for a pop of colour. I kept the flowers simple and used jars and old beer bottles as vases. I was also lucky enough to source large wood slices from my visit to Switzerland, which added that extra rustic touch.
