Morning lovely readers,
Today I’m back with a fabulous makeup artist and hair extraordinaire; Victoria hands. Victoria has been in the beauty industry for years. She’s from Cornwall in England and worked in London for 10 years before making the big move to Dubai a few years ago. One of her many talents is styling, and having worked in the fashion industry for over a decade she’s somewhat an expert. Her portfolio is a mix between high fashion, weddings and everything in-between. I don’t want to name drop but she’s worked with some amazing publications such as Grazia UK, Elle, OK, Viva, Cosmo UK and Men’s Health. She’s also worked with top brands such as Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Swarovski, D Squared and Lipsy. Oh and I should also mention that she works with The One and Only Resorts Worldwide, which means she gets to travel and stay in fancy 5* hotels for work. I know, I know… she’s kind of a big deal right 😉 which is why she’s one of my favourites on the blog.
While putting this blog together I asked Victoria to send me a mixture of fashion and real brides. It’s important to see the difference. In my opinion a bride should look like the most beautiful version of herself. Enough makeup to iron out any imperfections, such as blemishes and small pimples (something no bride ever wants on her wedding day) but not too much makeup that she looks like a high fashion model. If you know what I mean.
Victoria is in the process of launching her spanking new website, and I’m VERY excited to share that with you very soon. In the mean time you can check out her Facebook page for more examples of her work.

Oh and did I mention she’s really really lovely? So down to earth and friendly… I thought I’d mention it because if you’re like me, you will want lovely friendly people around you on your wedding day 🙂
