My DIY chalk board…

As you know I am all about the DIY, I love it, It’s like being back in art class but I’m not at school, I’m at home, making everything for my own wedding. OK, so really it’s nothing like art class, it’s just really fun.
To make my blackboards I made a trip to ace hardware and got everything for under AED200. I bought chalkboard paint and the wood from Ace and the paint brush from Geant supermarket, but that’s because I forgot to buy it at Ace. Anyway, this is so easy anyone can do it, and if your a messy painter like me then you’re in luck because the paint comes off your hands super easy and it dries really even too.
I set everything up on my balcony and have spent the past 2 days painting both sides of my boards. I do need to get frames for them as I think it will give it a much nicer finish. That’s next on my list of things to do.
I’m pretty sure you don’t need instructions for this.. pictures will do just fine. Here we go…


And I’ve brought out my white easel too, just to show what it will look like on the big day. Hope you like it…♥

All this DIY is getting me rather excited… how many days now? Hmm 57.. wahoo. xx
