Normally a bride will wake up feeling excited, yet relaxed and ready for a morning of pampering before she walks down the aisle. I guess I’m not your typical bride. I woke up, grabbed my bags, flip-flops and Step Mother and drove to my wedding venue, The Montgomerie. On my arrival I was pleased to see the florists from Oliver Dolz hard at work and also the guys from Canvas and Wood setting up the picnic benches. The excitement set in and I was ready to create the perfect setting for my wedding day. We had delivered all of my accessories, the crates, signs, blackboards and jam jars the day before so all we had to do was place everything. 3 hours flew by and by 12pm it was almost done. I was then ordered to go and get ready and try and relax for a few hours before go time.
I spent the next few hours with Trudy, my very sweet makeup artist who kept me company before my Mum and wedding party arrived. I finally felt like a bride. ♥
So here I am, getting ready for my wedding…
And here is my gorgeous groom having some fun next door… (he literally was in the room next door)
