On my first visit to the Conrad Dubai, I was accompanied by my husband Nathan. We went on a Thursday evening after a long week and relaxed at Cave, one of the coolest new bars in Dubai. It’s literally designed like a cave.
My first impressions of a hotel are on the lobby, the flowers (because I love flowers) and the vibe I get from the hotel staff. I thought it was a cool hotel. It’s cool because it’s not so ‘bling, bling’ or trying to be something it’s not. It’s in the heart of the city, and it sits on Sheikh Zayed road like it’s been there forever. It fits into our busy cosmopolitan city just perfectly.
The Conrad Dubai offer various venues including two large ballrooms, meeting spaces, and depending on the budget, you can also hire out their fabulous outdoor area. Purobeach is a must-visit! If you’re having a very small intimate wedding, for say 30guests, you can reserve a small area of the pool, however if you’re guest list is a little more… (and your budget too) you can rent out the whole pool area. This urban oasis would make an idyllic setting for a ceremony or reception. Oh and did I mention that if you get married in the ballroom, your guests will be entering via their very own private elevator! #fancy!
The other perks of getting married at the Conrad Dubai (and this is the pitch to your groom-to-be) is their luxury fleet of super cars. Get picked up in a Maserati or a Porsche, and arrive at your wedding in style. I’m pretty sure my husband Nathan would of booked this venue based on this fact alone. And I’m not even joking! He has a thing for cars, actually it’s more like an obsession. Anyway…
So if you’re looking for a venue for your Dubai wedding, I really suggest having a look around the Conrad Dubai. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
