Over the past year I’ve witnessed a number of brides coming to me with the same Pinterest images. It’s becoming rather predictable and some might think that’s a bad thing but I actually rather like it. It helps me figure out what brides really want and how I can make their Pinterest vision a reality on their wedding day. Pinterest is exploding with images from wedding blogs and photographers, and it’s those very images that make brides all over the globe weak at the knees. Perhaps a rustic outdoor wedding with DIY details floats your boat? Or maybe you’re swooning over an elegant blush pink and gold wedding? Either way, using Pinterest as a source to help plan your wedding is brilliant. I recommend every bride to set up an account, if you don’t have one already.
So what are the most popular pins? Using key words such as ‘Rustic Wedding’, ‘Garden Wedding’, Lighting & Wedding’ I searched for the most popular images on Pinterest… and this is what I found.

The images of the stacked crates were some of the first images that I discovered on Pinterest, and inspired my cake table for my own wedding. It’s easy to re-create and it’s also budget friendly. The string light bulbs is another favorite and nearly every bride I meet has this image on pinned on a board. I’m also a big fan of a floral arch featuring curtains… I’ve used this style arch at a few weddings and it’s proving to be quite a hit.
