Sister style… my very own 1950s pin up!

This afternoon I’m going back to see Anne at the Bridal Room tailors in Satwa. I have my 3rd dress fitting, and hopefully the last. I also get to see how my shoes will look with my dress, eek I’m so excited. While I’m there I’m also briefing Anne on my sisters dress. She’s in the UK so it’s bit of a gamble to have it made here, but fingers crossed it will fit. Nicole does arrive about 7 days before the wedding so that should give us some time to make final alternations if needed.
So, here is my gorgeous sister. She’s like my stylish punk rocker with a twist of 1950s glam. I love her so much it’s unreal.
This is the style of dress I think would look perfect on her, a 1950s dress with long sleeves. I love her tattoos but I think for the wedding day at least some of her coloured arms should be covered. I mean, I wouldn’t want her to get more attention than me?? 😉

And for her hair, I was thinking of a high bun with a small head scarf or hair band?

What do you think? I know it’s a little different to the usual bridesmaids dresses BUT that’s just who we are… a little different, or maybe quirky is the right word? Hmmm….
