OK people… be prepared to be blown away. This video, created by “Hitched in Dubai”, is one of my all time favorites. I’m also in it, which makes it that much better!
I love everything about this wedding, and not only did I get to showcase some of the best vendors in Dubai but they trusted me with the decor. I put forward ideas, and they gave me the all clear to be creative and do what I do best. ‘style weddings’. We added personal touches throughout, and because Mark is a DJ we incorporated a record player, and instead of guests signing a guest book, they signed vintage records. It was a very cool touch.
Sophia’s vision for a blush pink and gold wedding was teamed with mint green and glittery DIY touches. I hand painted oversize mason jars with mint and pink paint and sprayed them with gold glitter. The wood signage was created by “The Joinery.” They also helped me make the floral DIY photo booth. I painted an old wood Ikea table to match. I used mirrors from Ikea and Lilliam at “E-walls” made stickers for me. It was feminine and beautiful, and everyone appeared to love it. The mirrors were also useful for the guests to top up makeup throughout the day.
“Vintage Bloom” provided the flowers, which were absolutely stunning. The floral arch was probably my favorite bit, along with the hanging jars on white hooks teamed with white folded chairs. On the upper lawn the reception was set for 160 guests. The lighting was a cloud of hanging bulbs, subdued and romantic. I’ve never seen “The Address, Montgomerie Lawn” look so lovely. I really can’t wait to feature Mark & Sophia’s wedding soon.
Vendors credits and a full wedding feature coming soon…
