Spa Review – Jenny Rose Beauty & Hair Salon at Motor City

A few weeks back I was invited by Jenny to come and see her beauty salon in Motor City. I’ve known Jenny for years, in fact I baby sat her kids a few times about 6 years ago.  I used to live in Motor City when I was younger and single so it was a hop, skip and jump across the road to her place in Arabian Ranches. Come on, baby sitting is pretty easy. I play with cool kids and watch TV and get paid for it. 😉 I’ve known her partner Tor for years, actually since I was 12 so they are close friends of the family. So anyway, My step Mum and I went to see Jenny and she treated us to a treatment. Being a Mummy-to-be I opted for the prenatal massage. 60 minutes of pure bliss. I came out like a zombie, I was so relaxed I couldn’t even talk. It was the perfect timing for a massage as I’d been busy with work and some much needed down time was on my to-do list.

My first impressions of the salon were… ‘oh it’s so clean and white’. But what impressed me the most was the way Jenny spoke to her staff, you can tell she really cares and they are not only employees, but family too. Having lived in Dubai for years and years as well as having her own business she knows how things work here. She’s a good boss, a very good boss and when employees are happy, you know know you’re going to get good service, happy smiles and a friendly welcome every time you visit. Her staff are all very well trained and professional too.

So would I recommend Jenny Rose to MLW readers? Hell yes I would! It’s a simple, yet lovely salon in Motor City which is perfect for anyone living in or around the area. Even though I live in Jumeirah/ Satwa I would make the 20 minute drive to visit Jenny and her staff any time I could. In fact I think I should take advantage of my pregnancy status and go back for another massage before I have no time  to do anything when my little girl arrives. #soexcited!
