How is it Thursday already? I don’t know about you but these weeks just seem to be flying by! Since the weekend is just a few hours away we thought we would share something very pretty today, a rather gorgeous styled shoot that is jam-packed full of some of our very favourite vendors – including cake from Nice Ribbon Atelier and bridal by Vanila Wedding Boutique to name a few. All based in Dubai! Perfect for those of you for a little bit of inspiration this afternoon. I personally lovely the Middle Eastern theme and the use of rich colours here with a burgundy and purple colour theme, what a great way to add a punch to your decor. Conceived by Olga from Save the Date and photographed by Joem Aldea and Paula Scalco, we are very excited to share this one with you – I’ll hand you over to Olga as she tell us more about all the details…

We were very excited to have the chance to make the styled shoot in one of most exquisite and beautiful venues that Dubai can offer. The place [Penthouse on the Palm] has a very modern vibrant vibe.
I got really convinced with promoting eclectic outlook, combining modern minimalism with the lavish baroque style. Since baroque promotes excessive luxury and ornate details, I chose to bring some natural elements to the picture, connecting it to the myth and traditions of ancient Middle East and Persia, where pomegranates are very well regarded and symbolize the richness and prosperity.
Our florists Blossom Tree did really well combining variety of exotic flowers with the fruits. Another accent was on the table. We styled it with some burgundy velvet runner, gold beaded charger plates, elegant china sets, modern golden cutleries and variety of glass ware. All provided by Party Social, including our favorite Chameleon chairs. We also used different vases and crystal candelabras from Save The Date Weddings inventory.
The cake by Nice Ribbon Atelier was a true masterpiece. A week before we discussed with Ana from Nice Ribbon Atelier the mood board and decided on the reach gray palate combined with fruits and some gold accents. I must say her beautiful creation exceed all my expectation of a perfect cake.
Since baroque promotes abundance of all forms, we decided to spice it up with the beauty abundance. Our models had very different looks, however both were equally stunning. The make up and hair for both models are by The Cure Beauty Salon.
Stylists from Vanila Wedding Boutique chose two different dresses with the spotlight on each model’s personality. Farida was wearing classical princess dress, and Venetta’s dress was hand made with long sleeves and lace tattooed back.
For the story capture two brilliant photographers Joem Aldea and Paula Scalco teamed up as a great tandem.
