Good morning from sunny Switzerland!
Nathan and I are now on our honeymoon and have been married for 5 days, and so far I LOVE being a wife. It’s awesome! Our wedding day was AMAZING and I’m sad it’s all over. I cried as I left The Montgomerie on Saturday morning, my wedding has been and gone but I least I have my blog and still have an excuse to talk about weddings everyday! I’m such a lucky girl! It really was everything I imagined, if not more. I can’t wait to share pictures with you very soon. I think I’ll grab some off Facebook and post them in the next few days.
So as you can see from the title of this blog… Nathan and I have actually been legal married for a while. We got married at Jebel Ali Christ Church on 21st October. We had 3 witnesses and I wore a pink polka dot dress. It was a lovely afternoon and I had unexpected nerves. Just before we all left our apartment to drive down to the church I got teary eyes. I suddenly felt sad that my family and friends were not here to see me ‘legally’ wed my husband. It was special for us because we were made husband and wife, but I didn’t feel like a bride. I felt like we were truly committed, and it was amazing to walk out of the church hand in hand, but I knew I wouldn’t feel really ‘married’ until I wore my wedding dress. So, before you see the wedding day pictures here is a few from our ‘legal’ wedding day. ♥
While I’m online I just want to say thank you so much for reading my blog, supporting me through the past few months and generally being amazing. I can’t wait to bring you so much more in 2013.
Love and wedding hugs…
