The Wedding Showcase @ The Park Hyatt

On the 3rd May I spent my day with the lovely Rio @ Bride Club ME, Claire @ Goldfish Photography & Video, Ritu @ Creative Box and several other lovely vendors at the Park Hyatt Hotels and Villas on Saadiyat Island.

By 8pm my throat was slightly sore and I was rather full after a full day of greasing at the food stations. The Park Hyatt Chefs were cooking up a storm at their live stations, which kept the guests happy, and the vendors too. I made friends with the chefs, which was awesome, but not so good for my waist line. I was actually seated juts next to the falafel station, which was so good, but I was rather falafeled out by the time I got home. Lol. Then again it was Saturday, so I guess it’s ok to be a bit naughty. #weekend treat

The Social Booth was one of the highlights of the day, just because photo booths are generally so much fun. I found myself striking a pose in-between bridal chit chats. I also had a good old catch up with Louma and her baker friend Lea at Diva Bakes. She’s one responsible for the gorgeous little cookies below. Again, not so good for the waist line, but so yummy.

The ballroom was decorated by a local Abu Dhabi wedding planner ‘Signed by Nawar’, and the cakes were designed by the talented pastry Chefs at the Park Hyatt. The ballroom was decorated with hanging flowers and a beautiful white stage, which showcased the space perfectly. The outside area on the terrace also displayed a variety of set ups which included the hotels own chairs… which I must say are so much nicer than the standard hotel chairs. {Ya know, the ones with the white covers} I also met a super fun DJ called Sister Rock, who kept us entertained with a mix of classic wedding tunes and chilled out beats.

Overall it was a really good day, and I’m sure that every bride-to-be who attended left a little more inspired.  I also want to give a massive shout out to the girls at the Park Hyatt for organising such a fab event. Thank you Hariska & Clementine!!!!
