Vanila Wedding Boutique presents HELEN MILLER {Exclusively in the Middle East}

It’s not often that I blog about bridal gowns or the fashion side of weddings but today that changes. The lovely Katerina recently opened Vanila Wedding Boutique in JLT, Dubai. With a large collection of well known brands in store, we decided to focus each blog post on one designer. Today it’s all about Helen Miller.

Helen Miller is a Dutch brand that has been developing rapidly and is now very successful on the wedding fashion arena. Vanila Wedding Boutique is proud to represent this brand exclusively in the Middle East and Africa.
Helen Miller has been elaborating her designs very carefully and delicately. The core idea of the brand is providing great quality, stylish up-to-date designs of different types for reasonable prices.
Each collection has a name rather than a number (like Season 2015, etc.) because the designer puts all her soul and creativity into it and wants it to be unique: Lint, Fleur, Sweet, Green and the latest one is called SKY.

Lint in Dutch means ribbon, each model of this collection has a ribbon: either small or big and of different styles. This collection was created after the birth of the designer’s first child, a girl, that’s why all the tiny ribbons and ties on the child’ clothes initiated the theme of the collection: these are modern designs with flirty elements, a bit playful and maybe even childish.

Another collection Sweet was called like that since the designer (as many other ladies) is a real sweet-tooth, it is always temptation and delight. One always tries to limit themselves with these sweet pleasures, but it is always very hard and once you taste it – it is such a bliss, that’s why each model in Sweet collection is called after famous deserts or cakes. For example, Bushe is called after the French desert “La bouche” which is made very tender and puffy and the model of the dress resembles that. “I like la bouche with cherry flavor, that’s why the sash on the dress is same color as cherry – ruby red”, explains the designer.

Fleur collection means floral mood. The designer loves flowers and as she says “Every day I have fresh flowers at home, and I consider flowers to be the main décor of any wedding”. Helen Miller is inspired by the beauty of the nature, how many colors it gives to the world. “Nature is the most talented and inimitable designer”, says Helen.

SKY – the latest collection was named like this when Helen moved to USA, California, with her family. The first and brightest impression after the arrival was the night Californian sky. She observed the blue night sky full of stars away from the big cities life where the stars are usually barely seen. “The weather is always bright and warm throughout the year in Ca., that’s why I can’t resist going out every evening and enjoying the night sky.” So this sky was an inspiration for the new collection theme.

Gorgeous lace and new trends are vividly observed in the latest wedding dress styles by Helen Miller. From our side, we extremely enjoy the fact that the designer doesn’t stop inventing and at the same time tends to stick to classics and new trends all together.
